IMPORTANT NOTICE: GlucoCare is an auditing and reporting platform for metabolic tracking. It is NOT a medical device, does NOT administer medication, and does NOT replace professional medical advice, diagnosis, or emergency healthcare services.

Research Platform Agreement: This application is operated as a research-centric framework. By creating an account and registering to use GlucoCare, you agree that your data (metabolic logs, activity levels, and meal plans) may be used for research and academic analysis. Consequently, we advise that you may omit or substitute your real personal details (such as real names, personal contact numbers, or clinical locations) with pseudonyms as you deem appropriate to protect your personal privacy.

Welcome to GlucoCare. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the GlucoCare mobile application, website portals, developer APIs, and related metabolic monitoring services. Please read them carefully before using our platform.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering for an account, linking your clinical profiles, or using any part of the GlucoCare ecosystem, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you are not authorized to use our platform or input vital records.

2. No Medical Advice Disclaimer

All software outputs, HbA1c approximations, Time-in-Range percentages, glycemic trends, and predictive notifications provided by GlucoCare are for informational and educational purposes only.

  • Consult Your Doctor: You must always consult with a qualified endocrinologist, diabetologist, or primary care physician before adjusting insulin doses, carbohydrate ratios, correction factors, or any other element of your diabetes therapy.
  • No Emergency Coverage: GlucoCare is not a critical-alert dispatch system. In the event of severe hypoglycemia, ketoacidosis, or any medical emergency, seek immediate professional emergency services.

3. Account Responsibilities

To use GlucoCare, you must create a secure user account. You agree to:

  1. Provide complete, accurate, and current registration information (such as clinic codes and personal identifiers).
  2. Keep your password secure and not share your login credentials with unauthorized third parties.
  3. Promptly notify us of any security breaches or unauthorized access to your patient profile.

4. Accurate Metabolic Data Entry

GlucoCare relies on the data you enter. You acknowledge that:

  • Inaccurate logging of carbohydrate intake, skipped insulin doses, or miscalibrated glucose meter inputs will result in invalid analytical reports.
  • We are not responsible for any adverse health outcomes or analytical discrepancies arising from incomplete or falsified entries.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

The GlucoCare branding, logo graphics, UI/UX designs, CSS/JS layout components, database schemas, predictive algorithms, and custom software code are the exclusive property of GlucoCare Systems and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reverse engineer, modify, decompile, or extract the source code of GlucoCare without our prior written consent.

6. API and Integration Guidelines

If you access GlucoCare through our clinical APIs, you agree to comply with the rate limits, authentication requirements, and security protocols outlined in the API Docs. We reserve the right to suspend API access for any endpoint that exhibits abusive patterns or compromises platform integrity.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GlucoCare Systems, its developers, and clinical advisors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to health complications, physical injury, loss of medical records, database corruption, or system downtime resulting from your use of the platform.

8. Termination of Service

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to GlucoCare at our sole discretion, without notice, if we believe you are in breach of these Terms, using the platform for unauthorized clinical experiments, or engaging in activities that threaten database security.

9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which GlucoCare Systems is registered, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the courts of that jurisdiction.
